Playing acoustic upright bass for the Barn Katz is Kitchener native, Glenn
George. After an 11 year hiatus away from bluegrass and pretty much
playing music in general, Glenn joined London based bluegrass band,
Foxtail in 2009. He then, in the fall of that same year, helped found the
Waterloo Wellington Bluegrass Music Association; of which he continues
today to be the president.
Back through the 90's with Clean Sweep, he was twice nominated as Bass Player of the year. Glenn's bass playing can be described as solid and tasty; delivering those fat bottom notes and luscious lines at just the right time.
